OUR MISSIONS

How We Got Started

VETPAW was created to meaningfully contribute to lowering rampant poaching in Africa, as well as create meaningful employment for our brothers and sisters who have risked their lives in protecting our great country. We do this by utilizing the unrivaled skills and experience of our post-9/11 U.S. veterans to assist in these conservation efforts.

These objectives all culminate with the ultimate goal of protecting and increasing the amount of wildlife and endangered species under our protection.

Train Local Rangers

Our veterans have a wealth of experience and training garnered from their active deployments in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria – particularly counter-insurgency and gathering of intelligence. We, therefore, are able to translate this experience into effective, on the ground operations, wildlife protection, and meaningful community engagement.

Surveillance and Protection

Together with local rangers, local law enforcement, private reserve owners and government conservation units, our team our are able to create tailor made security strategies that are most effective for that particular reserve and counteract any particular challenges that they may face in keeping both their people and wildlife safe.

Education and Conservation

We are committed to educating local communities on the long-term benefits of a thriving wildlife community and why it is so important for us to work together to keep them safe. Our goal is to create significant long-term projects that reinforce the need to facilitate feasible community beneficiation.
